** CALL FOR PAPERS **
1st International Workshop on Requirements Engineering Frameworks (REFrame)
Special Issue: "Human Values in RE"
co-located with 29th International Working Conference on Requirement Engineering: Foundation for Software Quality (REFSQ'23)
Monday, 17th of April 2023 - Barcelona, Spain

=============================================================================
**OBJECTIVES
The REFrame workshop aims to bring together a diversity of people who are interested in reflecting on and discussing current research, challenges, and experiences related to the science-driven development and industrially
relevant application of frameworks for requirements engineering.
Moreover, the workshop is intended to identify future research topics and collaboration possibilities – even beyond the scope of the workshop – with the ultimate goal of col-laboratively building and publishing a compendium of frameworks
(respectively best practices) that can be used and applied when it comes to solving RE-specific challenges.
As a special issue of this first edition, the workshop takes up the main theme of REFSQ’23 “Human Values in RE” both in the call of papers, the invited talk(s), and the interactive discussion sessions.
** TARGET AUDIENCE
The workshop is open to the public and invites both researchers and practitioners who have an interest in discussing challenges and experiences related to RE frameworks and in fostering a (continuous) dialog on the workshop topic – even beyond the scope of the workshop.
No special background knowledge is required.
Instead, a diversity of participants with different backgrounds and different levels of practical or academic experience is desired.
** SUBMISSIONS
We encourage people from both academia and industry to submit papers in four categories via EasyChair:
* Problem / Position / Vision papers (up to 4 pages, excluding references). These papers could, for instance, share overviews of RE frameworks or open ques-tions / challenges / expectations in the RE community that appear promising in terms of being addressed by RE frameworks.
* Technical Solution / Experience reports (up to 6 pages, excluding references). These papers could share experiences or lessons learned from the development and/or application of frameworks in an RE context.
* Extended abstracts (up to 2 pages, excluding references) Such abstracts could share practical experiences with RE frameworks or visions for them. Authors are invited to share their best practice experience with RE frameworks.
* Presentation only (2-3 slides) Participants from industry are invited to share their experiences as presentations.
Accepted papers will be published in the CEUR workshop proceedings.
Please submit your paper electronically (in PDF format) to EasyChair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=reframe23
All submissions must be formatted according to the Springer LNCS/LNBIP conference proceedings template (for LaTeX and Word): https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines.
